Edward Melia
Edward Melia has more than 25 years experience spanning global business management, strategic management consulting, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and mergers & acquisitions. In his career, Melia has focused on disruptive technologies with specific sector proficiency in life sciences, new energy, digital media and information technology.
He also serves as board member for the Aging Well Institute at Boston University, an international scientific research consortium focused on age related disease. Edward advises the institute on strategy, governance and operations. He also leads the efforts to identify, commercialize and grow the innovation and discovery that results from the Institute’s work. AWI emerging technologies include materials science, robotics, healthcare connected devices, artificial intelligence and data analytics.
Edward and his partners provide concierge level family office services to advance the accumulation of wealth and the financial wellbeing of their clients and their families. He is charged with all M&A activities of New World and oversees the pre and post and integration of private wealth management firms throughout the US.
